1. Who can apply?

In line with the regulatory agreement of 9094 FOU 314 Academic Regulations of the University of the Balearic Islands, the final admission is contingent upon compliance with the accreditation of the general requirements and specific access to the master at the time of commencement of employment of scholarly activity.

General requirements for access to all university masters

The Royal Decree 1393/2007 of 29 October establishing the new management of official university studies. Under this decree, access to university master may be:

Access to official Spanish degree

You can request a place at a university master anyone with an official university degree, or bachelor, engineer, graduate architect, engineer or technical architect.

Degree of access to European Higher Education Area (EHEA)

You can request a place at a university master any person who holds a university degree awarded by a higher education institution of the European Higher Education Area (EHEA), which allows access to the official master's degree.

Access to a university degree outside the European Higher Education Area (EHEA)

You can request a place at a university master any person who holds a university degree awarded by an institution of higher education outside of the European Higher Education Area (EHEA), which allows access to the university master's degree. In this case, they can access anytime they obtain prior approval to access a title or without approval, with the finding that these studies show a level of education equivalent to grade government bonds and authorized in the country that issued it the title to access postgraduate studies. If access without approval from previous studies, they must file a request for access to master studies from outside the EHEA at the time of the pre-registration.
Acceptance into a master does not in any case the approval of previous qualifications or its recognition or that different purpose of study for master.

2. Which language of lectures?

Students must have extensive knowledge in English as subjects are taught in this language. Therefore, it requires a level B2

3. What is the maximum number of students admitted to the completion of the master?

20, if these quotas are exceeded will become part of the waiting list.

4. How many ECTS is the master?

The master has a total of 60 ECTS, which are distributed in 1 academic year.

5. What is the period of study?

The class period is from September 2015 to September 2016. On July and September there are a period for the presentation on the master final project. During summer, professional training placement could be carried out.

6. What is the schedule of classes?

The class schedule is from 16.00 to 20.00h Monday to Friday mainly, but some classes could be held in the morning or on Saturday.

7. What is the deadline for submissions?

First pre-registration period: from 15th of April 2015 to 10th of July 2015
First Admission list: 14th of July 2015
First registration period: from 15th to 29th of July 2015
Second pre-registration period: from 1st to 9th of September 2015
Second Admission list: 11th of September 2015
Second registration period: from 14th to 18th of September 2015

8. What are the documents needed to start the admission process?

• Degree
• Academic Transcripts
• Curriculum Vitae.
• Identity card or passport
• A mission statement with personal motivation and reasons for studying this master
• Other degrees or certificates (such as English certificates).
